The Story Behind Art Collection

The PSG Art Collection spans over 300 works and reflects six centuries of European and world art.

Beginning with 15th-century masters, it continues through 17th century painters such as Rembrandt circle, Aert von der Neer and Giovanni Maldura to 19th-century landscape painters including masterpieces of Andreas and Oswald Achenbach, Flamm, Leu, Hilgers, Jakob Alt, Bamberger, Krusemann, Nerly, Carabain, Barend Cornelis Koekkoek, Stademann, Rasmussen, and Charles Leickert. The narrative then evolves into modern and contemporary art with works by Luis Felipe Usabal y Hernández, Léo Gausson, Louis Lejeune, and Jakob Veigar Sigurdsson.
