The Story Behind Christmas Decoration

Since the opening of the centre, Palladium’s Christmas decorations have become one of the symbols of Prague’s festive season.

The latest decoration takes inspiration from a custom dating back to the 7th century, when Christmas trees were hung upside down to symbolise the Holy Trinity with their triangular shape. As a result, an inverted Christmas tree dominates the current installation, immediately capturing the attention of visitors and media alike.

Why This Story Matters

Christmas decorations create a unique atmosphere that boosts visitor numbers and strengthens Palladium’s image as a premium shopping destination. The project is highly demanding both organisationally and technically – requiring detailed coordination with tenants, technical staff, security, and cleaning services. A crucial task also involved addressing the structural requirements for suspending the inverted tree. The project shows PS Group’s ability to manage such complex project from design and concept to managing of implementation and operations of the project each year.
