Having over 20 years’ experience in finance, Martin manages all finances of the group companies as well as associated companies in various countries, such as the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Liechtenstein.

He assumes responsibility for the group’s accounting, controlling and taxes, but also for special projects including group taxation structures, cross border mergers, group and project financing, negotiation with banks, creation of processes for new projects, asset and share deals for both sales and purchase sides as well as IT system implementation. Martin graduated in 2000 from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics in Prague. Thereafter he completed his ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) professional studies and achieved Czech Statutory Auditor qualification. Before he joined the Property Solutions Group in 2012, Martin had worked in professional services (Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young) for 10 years and then 2 years in the Czech and Slovak pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson. He has done a number of significant audit and assurance projects under Czech and German GAAP and IFRS across a broad range of industries and participated in due diligence, valuation and forensic projects.
